IWC IW371482 wrist watches news:
I know this has been talked about before, probably in great lengths. But I still can not understand this. I recently sent one of my Day-Dates to RSC for service/overhaul. I am guessing that as part of the standard service, they buff out all scratches, making the watch look new again when it is returned to the customer. Anyway, I received a call from the nice woman at the RSC telling me since my watch was older, 1980's, that it had been buffed several times making the case thinner than when it was manufactured. She said since gold is softer than stainless, every time it is buffed, there is significant gold loss. Because of this, RSC said the integrity of the case is compromised, as far as being pressure/water proof. She went on to tell me that RSC advises customers with precious metal watches, after approximately 5 trips to the RSC the watch should be replaced, or do not use it in wet environment anymore. Now I have been told by people here on this Forum, in the past, that this
"OOO"ps i did it again, fell of the watch sobriety wagon...and into a puddle of 000!have to say this - i never thought i would ever get a Panerai without seconds, date or automatic.and here i am...i have been seduced and brought over to the "Base""Dolce Far Niente" - the sweetest idleness
Hi!Which is the original (metal) bracelet for Breitling Chrono Superocean model year 2010?// Linslus
ok I know this is a Patek forum so opinion might be biased but I still want to hear you all comment on this.. Patek or RM?this is a tough choice for me since they are about the same price and they all look stunning in person, unfortunately I can only take one of them.any inputs are welcome
Hi guys,Currently have my Everest strap on my BLNR with the OEM Rolex clasp.Just wanted to ask for those of you who have alternative straps, how often do you change them out and does it cause wear on the spring bars to frequently compress them to change out bracelets? Also due to using the OEM clasp, it involves removing the screws from the clasp to place the oyster bracelet back on. Would this cause damage to the screws or threads from constantly using loctite each time I replace it?Sorry for the long winded post, but just curious. Thank you for any guidance given!!!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
