IWC IW459102 wrist watches news:
The newest version of the Montblanc "Orbis Terrarum" flew a little under the radar when it was introduced ¨C which happens when the timing coincides with a new Annual Calendar Chronograph with a list price of $10,450. But it's still odd given the reception its predecessor received when this model first launched at SIHH 2015. 1 OF 10 Montblanc's new world timer, the 4810 Orbis Terrarum. The original Heritage Spirit Orbis Terrarum was exactly the kind of watch we want to see more of ¨C a simple, yet elegant complication with an in-house module for under $7,000. So we were thrilled when Montblanc decided to show more of it, 12 months later, this time in the 4810 collection. 2 OF 10 Originally presented in a 41 mm stainless steel or red-gold case, the Heritage Spirit Orbis Terrarum is Montblanc's take on the classic world time function. It displays the time anywhere on earth at any given moment, thanks to an intuitive and surprisingly legible multi-layer
How do you feel about this, I am really liking the look, classy and dressy, much more so than that clanky metal. With a nice butterfly deployment clasp ( a MUST have for any leather strap), this is undeniably classy and dressy beyond measure gentleman...Sharp!And sexy!
As some here will remember, this book was mailed to me back on October 27th. I feared it had been lost in transit. Well, it finally arrived this morning, four weeks to the day after mailing! It's appearance was somewhat unusual and caused a minor stir, so I thought I'd photograph the process of opening it up and share it with you all!The most remarkable thing was the green sandbag-like woven bag it arrived in, prominently wearing the marque of the Italian postal service. The bag itself was closed with not one but two tags. The first assured me that the contents had been x-rayed for my, and your protection! The second, less exciting, testified to its dispatch date - in case you didn't believe me! Well, after cutting the zipties off and opening the green sack, what appears but a very conventional cardboard box...the plain brown wrapper, as it were.Inside, lots of spare literature and material - and notice the styrofoam cushioning material. The book itself is in a white slipcover to furth
Hi all,I've been looking at an older model 'coltocean' quartz in a shop - no papers etc. It looks & feels genuine, but I'm intrigued by the seconds hand - it does not have a square or arrow at the tip, but is coloured red for the last cm or so. I've done a quick google for images of the quartz colt ocean but they all seem to show the square or arrowhead seconds hand.Anyone know if this watch originally came out with a 'standard' looking seconds hand (with the red tip)? Not too serious about jumping in but would like to verify authenticity as much as possible. There is no AD anywhere near hear so can't really go there. Although simply removing the caseback would be pretty conclusive (no one bothers to fake a movement/detailing etc).Anyone....?
It's a Black Mako Saturday for me. -Shawn
