Thought I'd share some handy things I use often in order of frequency:Opti-VisorBergeon blower (the dark orange thing)quality spring bar toolcase-back ball for opening/closing screw-back casestweezers curved and straightRodicoIMO the opti-visor is indispensible. It makes seeing all the tiny things much easier for me, and greatly reduces the chances of marring finishes when changing straps.The blower is great for lots of things, but I use it daily when taking pictures. A few squeezes on and around the watch should remove most of the dust particles that ofent show up in macro photography.I've used quite a few spring bar tools, and this one is the best IMO. If you'd like to buy one, let me know and I'll send you one at my cost.From my experience most screw-back vintage watches can be opened with a case-ball. I like them because they're fast, and there's no chance of scratches.The tweezers I've shown are better suited for watchmaking than sizing bracelets, etc. For frequent use you can pic

I may be new here, but I have been around the block a few times. I really like vintage watches and most of my grails have been vintage. I have a few old pocket watches that I enjoy as well. I am primarily into mechanical watches and not so much quartz. I have pretty far ranging tastes in watches and like a lot of different things, especially the more unusual! I was against dive watches at first, just didn't "get" them, but we all know how our tastes change! Now I have a few nice ones and just love 'em! I have an especially nice collection of alarm watches, mainly mechanical. Thin skeleton watch
I'm looking for a skeleton watch that is no 8mm tall, and i'd like shorter. It should be basically bare bones, with as few gears as possible.I don't want it to be too pricey, but instead something I can wear while out and not worry too much about without having it damaged. So something under say, 1200 bucks or so. I might go up to 1500 if it looks nice enough.Basically, something that looks like but preferably around 6mm - 8mm tall, with a width ranging from 35ish (if 6mm tall) to around 42.5 (if 8mm tall).I've searched for house with zero luck, and basically any help I could get would be amazing. I'd even go with a crappy Chinese replica if it's thing enough and looks nice enough.
