Omega 145.014 wrist watches news:
Hi Everyone, I am totally new and would like to seek advices.I am interested in buying an Omega watch, after several vendor store visits and google searches I have these in consideration(its all I can afford):omegawatches..1002?type=501$3,900 w/ 18% discount + taxomegawatches/gents..0?type=501$4,500 w/ 18% discount + taxomegawatches/g...3?type=501$4,800 w/ 18% discount + taxomegawatches/ge...?type=501$5,500 w/ 18% discount + taxMy questions are:1. What do the Ref(erence) numbers IE: 212.30.41.20.01.003 mean, are they just a model number? 212.30.41(watch diameter).20.01.003 is very long to be just a model number.2. The watches I look have Calibers 2500 (older, 3 watches above) and 8500 (newer, 1 above), the sales Rep said the newer the caliber the better accuracy and overall performance, which is only typical answer but not correct, right?3. I asked the Rep (she knows nothing, and only wanted a sale) if these Omega watches have 28,800 BPH or 25,200 BPH, she didnt know and other rep fill
Hello All,A long time since I've posted. I have something useful to say.My AD called me today to inform me of a price increase, effective immediately. For the model I'm stalking, it is a 6% increase. I do not have a new price list, nor do I know anything about prices for various (new) models going forward. These things just keep getting slightly further out of my reach!Good luck!
While clearing through some personal items of a relative who passed away a while back I found an old gold Omega watch. I think this must be from the 70's from the style, but would appreciate any information anyone may have on the model or year. Also, unfortunately, the bracelet is damaged. I've tried to take some pictures showing this, though the quality isn't great. I would appreciate any advice on whether it is possible to repair this kind of gold mesh bracelet? It looks like it is part of the case rather than a replaceable bracelet, so could be an expensive repair? Many Thanks in advance!1-DSC_2528.jpg1-DSC_2526.jpg1-DSC_2532.jpg1-DSC_2535.jpg1-DSC_2536.jpg
i got to try it out. its 44mm but it is not huge at all. even my 6.5 inch wrist can handle it.its flat and very comfortable. its dial is big and very legible. you can feel that its backed up with a great movement and high tech manufacturing.just want to express my admiration for these new omega watches.it was calling out to me but i still stuck with the planet ocean.
Hi. Another thread inspired me to come up with a ridiculous hypothetical. I know that many in these forums like older Submariner designs, but still prefer reliable new/like new condition and don't want to spend vintage collector money on the old stuff. If you want to buy a new Rolex in a store, the only option is obviously the current SubC (assuming it was actually in stock. ) So, if Rolex announced today that they'd be willing to retool and make only one version of today's Sub/SubDate brand new at today's retail price, would you vote for them to simply keep making the 114060/116610, or would you ask them to switch and go back to making either the 5512/1680 or 14060/16610 versions of those watches?
