Patek Philippe 3711/1A wrist watches news:
Mk II is widely known for not only being one of the first online micro brands but also for producing a great many well made homages to many a great sport and military watch of the past. Mk II is run by a perfectionist named Bill Yao, who transitioned from modding Seiko divers to making his own watches for an adoring online crowd that frequently pre-orders new models long before they will be delivered. The latest model to be announced by Mk II is called the Fulcrum and it's being advertised as an "American Milsub" and it's Mk II's vision of a?theoretical milsub made for the American military. We got to see a prototype of the Fulcrum at Baselworld earlier this year and regardless of its inspiration, the physical watch is impressive. Measuring a sport watch-ideal 42 x 15mm, the Fulcrum is ready for whatever your day holds, with an anti-magnetic, bead-blasted steel case, uni-directional 12 hour bezel, domed sapphire crystal, an HeV and 300m (1000ft) of water resistance. Weighing in at 117g
Hi there, everyone. My name's Andr¨¦, and I'm an Australian. I've been perusing these forums for the past few weeks to help me choose a watch, and since I've now gotten one, it seems an appropriate time to introduce myself and get going on these forums properly.I just purchased a Speedy Reduced (despite all the people who said it was a girls' watch :D), and I'm loving it. I was quite torn between both the Speedy Reduced and the Speedy Pro, but I don't regret my decision.Just stuck it on a cheap Hirsch strap today to see what it looked like. I've decided that I like it. Might get a better one later on this week. Here's a quick photo. Excuse the poor depth of field and exposure, but my SLR was on manual and I forgot to change the settings. I'll post a better one later on.Anyway, looking forward to getting to know people.
Hi All,After viewing a handful of posts regarding bracelet refinishing, LocTite, bracelet removal and such, I decided to update my bracelet & case maintenance page (plus, it was raining outside and could not get in much of a vacation bike ride). I updated sections regarding LocTite, removing SEL bracelets, SeaDweller tool uses, and touching up satin finishes on oyster bracelets. All typos are mine, so let me know if you see any.The page is posted at Minus4Plus6 - Rolex Case & Bracelet MaintenanceI also updated the Ouch page at Minus4Plus6 - Ouch! Tough & Broken Rolex with a new format. Cheers,-Sheldon

I like Omega watches and own a gold Deville on a leather strap for over 50 years. Recently I got the urge to buy another watch. I found out that my local jeweler had lost Omega several years ago. Omega had pulled out of all stores and open an Omega Boutique. I guess that it was a bad move because they have closed the boutique and now have no distribution in Western Washington state. Not being able to see and try on the watches I bought a Rolex instead. So what is going on with Omega? My Rolex AD who also use to be an Omega AD says they turned off many dealers with the way they pulled their line. They have no interest in selling Omega if they were asked to again.
