Audemars Piguet Audemars Piguet 43321 wrist watches news:
More big spenders are spending more. That¡¯s the situation with watch advertising in the U.S. market. Watch companies here spent an estimated $535.36 million on advertising in 2014, according to Kantar Media, which tracks advertising by brand for a range of products across all media channels. That¡¯s an increase of 8.7 percent over 2013. It¡¯s the first time spending has exceeded the $500 million mark. Five years ago, in the depths of the Great Recession of 2009, spending was $250.30 million, less than half of last year¡¯s amount.Another measure of the watch ad explosion is the amount required to make the list of Top 25 watch advertisers that we print annually (the latest appears in WatchTime’s July-August 2015 issue). In 2014, a brand had to spend $5.1 million to make the list. (Zenith spent $5.01 million and just missed the cut.) In 2013, $4.66 million got you into the Top 25. In 2012, Casio made it with $3.64 million. You¡¯d only get to #39 with that amount in 2014. All told, 71 br
Hi Everybody,Hannes from the R-L-X.de Rolex forum in Germany will be in San Francisco and we are going to have a watch GTG (get together) in the San Francisco Marina on Sunday, October 5, 2008 starting at 6pm.For those of you who are not familiar with Hannes, he is the co-owner of the German Rolex Forum which is the biggest and most successful Rolex forum in Europe. You can visit Hannes forum at R-L-X.deSheldon Smith of Minus4Plus6 is co-hosting the GTG event with me and we plan to start having San Francisco watch GTGs once every six months. If you are not familiar with a watch GTG, we all just get together at a restaurant and have cocktails (if you drink) and socialize and then we sit down for dinner. Of course the event is not only for Rolex enthusiasts, but watch collecting enthusiasts in general. Everybody is welcome to join us.Sheldon and I discussed we will all go Dutch so people only pay for what they eat or drink and there is no entry charge. To R.S.V.P. for this event please cli
What a neat watch. This was an impulse buy, largely because it reminded me of guilloche black dialed Constellations of the Era, but certainly also because the watch stands on its own appearance/style wise. I popped up my usual Hamilton swamp search, hit ending soonest, and and there it was with <30 sec to go. Put in a bid at 10 seconds and the rest is history as they say I guess this is an incoming thread At 34mm, not including the crown it is a good sized watch. The Cal. 661 seems to be running fine, although I've read some interesting things about jewel wear, will have to research that a little more. The dial and watch appear to be in super shape and original. Got to love black dials. These sleeper Hamiltons appear to be some of the best looking models.
Hi all,Just wanted to share. After a few years of being a Panerai only kinda guy, the Royal Oak caught my eye and I just could not stop thinking about it. On a recent trip to Naples, FL, I tried it on for just the second time and had to pull the trigger. Big thanks to Evan at Exquisite Timepieces. Every color dial is amazing, but I went with the silver - so mesmerizing. Ordered fresh and shipped to me - just sized it myself, 2 links out, too loose. 3 links out, slightly tight. Might have to order that 1.5 link. Anyway, couldn't be happier!
greetings,I just got a aqua terra chronograph. Mine came with only 2 red cards. I've noticed that many pictures on here have 3 red cards. Looks like I don't have the international one. Any insight on this would be helpful. Thanks.Wil
