Hiatus...
So, it seems as though I've been on a bit of a hiatus lately.Back in August, I got hired by a magazine here in St. Augustine as a photographer. Then they decided they wanted me to write for them (the print magazine and their website). They keep me hoppin' pretty well:I'm also one of the house photographers for two local concert venues. I've also been shooting for a college yearbook company; easy money and zero editing. Aside from those, I'm also shooting a good deal of racing, including the Rolex 24 at Daytona Int'l this weekend.On the watch front, I discovered a budget brand that I really like: Deep Blue. I know I posted some shots of the first one I bought, but I've since acquired a second:They're pretty beefy for the money. The one pictured was a whopping $200.00.I've also gotten some older watches which have belonged to various family members. I've got my Grandfather's old Fortis (I actually got that back when I lived in San Diego), and I got my Dad's old Hamilton when he passed aw

Couple quick pics, resting on an excellent review of the watch for the 2007 Winter/Spring edition of Chronos magazine by John Holbrook II
