Zenith Mega Port Royal Tourbillon Watch: Expensive Answer To Question No One Asked
Say, why don't they have a jumbo sized square tourbillon watch with cage bars on the crystal? Oh, well Zenith does, and this odd homage to goth time-telling befuddles my sense of association. On the one hand, you have the underpinnings of a high-quality Zenith Port Royal watch. This handsome tank watch is a modern interpretation of the classic rectangular watch look. On the other handyou have a black titanium cage.Do you recall the 1980's when those rubber watch protectors were popular? You know, on Swatch watches and others. Yea, wasn't that cool? Little rubber straps that curled over the face of the watch (only partially obstructing the view) that came in tons of (neon) colors. I sure was styling back then, I even wore several of them on my wrist at once!Well the point of protecting the crystal of watch apparently has been lost, until now, when Zenith reintroduced the cage look. From no Hamiltons to Two in Two Weeks
Please excuse the lousy shots, but I thought I would share my latest acquisitions with you. I seem to have a thing for Chronos, but I needed something a little more dressy. This Jazzmaster Chrono in rose tone really spoke to me. It's powered by a 7753. The fact that the price was half of the other watches I was considering sealed the deal. I like everything about it except for the strap. First, it's alligator grain, not genuine alligator. Second, I have an 8.125" wrist, so it's a bit small. I am having a new stratp made for it from Banda to fit my wrist.Last week I was looking through the For Sale sections of this site and some others when I saw an ad for an unworn Hamilton Khaki Below Zero with an ETA 2824. The price was half of retail, so I couldn't pass it up. I admired this watch at Basel this year, but I wasn't really looking for one right now. I really like this one too, but it suffers from the short strap issue even more than the Jazzmaster. I'm not sure what to do about this ru

Hi,I received a sales email from "Sportsmansguide",usually get several a week. In any case this is about "a sale on watches" One in particular caught my eye. I've included photos below. The Tritium may make it a pretty good buyI'd question the 330' water resistance however. Comes with a strap,no SS bracelet. However the Tritium still makes it look appealing for $89 + shipping.
