Breitling Navitimer Cosmonaute Blacksteel Limited Edition Watch
When you think of watches associated with space (and space programs), it probably calls to mind the Omega Speedmaster, or perhaps the Poljot Strela. Did you know that Breitling also has a watch associated with the great space race of the mid-20th century? It did, and Breitling is commemorating the 50th anniversary of the watch's flight into space.On May 24th, 1962, a Breitling Navitimer was on the wrist of Lt. Cmdr. Scott Carpenter as he orbited the Earth three times in an Aurora 7 capsule. What separated this watch from others of its day was the fact that it featured a 24-hour dial, allowing for easy demarcation between day and night (which isn't an easy thing to do when you're orbiting the globe). A couple years ago Breitling released a limited edition Navitimer Cosmonaute in honor of Mr. Carpenter's mission (hands-on here). Now, in 2013, Breitling has released the Navitimer Cosmonaute Blacksteelin black steel.Of course, this model harkens back to its predecessor of fifty years ago.

Hello pretty lady (watch). How are you doing? This is a good-looking watch, and I am not afraid to admit it. I wouldn't wear it maybe, but I'd check out the woman who was. An alternative to Cartier in style and refinement (but not that long history and multitude of celebrity lovers) Bedat & Co. is a sexy little number you should be saving up for to get her - if you really care that is. Ladies, if you are reading this. Have no qualms about setting your heart on one of these. The No. 8 watch comes in two sizes (about 26.5mm wide for the 827 model - with a Swiss quartz movement, and 36.5mm wide in the 828 that has a Swiss automatic movement in it). The No. 8 also has a double row of diamonds on the bezel, a nicely textured dial with unique blued-steel hands, a smooth 5-link bracelet. Hi everyone!walked by my ad yesterday and tried on a couple of watches. I couldn't really decide between the PO and SMP so I asked if she could give me a good deal if I got them both. She did and I walked out with 2 watches. surprise.... :)Actually started out on this forum cos I wanted a Rolex but after visiting every single Rolex and Omega dealer in Sydney and looking at watches here I decided to go with Omega. I still want a deepsea but might wait a while and give my bankaccount some tlc. ;)Here they are both on my wrist, enjoy!
