Planet Ocean from heaven!!
I tried to capture the most light possible in this picture, without compromising the details of the watch. And with a little bit of blur on the edges, we have a PO who looks to come right from heaven. I can easily imagine this watch on the wrist of an angel.Also, it is funny to see how the doomed sapphire looks accentuated.Enjoy!!!

Well I just added a few couple things to my Hamilton non-watch collection......A tin box that held one dozen mainsprings...And my favorite....Baseball and Hamilton....How about a Hamilton baseball bat ballpoint pen!I read, don't know if it is true.....maybe Hamilton Electric can clue me in......that this may have been part of the package of the Piping Rock Yankee re-issue If not, I still like it a lot. If so, I need to find one of those Yankee re-issue watches

This Elgin Trench Watch Might Just Be My Masterpiece ! ! ! ! !
Hey guys !I kind of gave you guys a sneak peek of this Elgin the other day but it was not fully assembled, I was still doing some final testing.Well, testing is now complete ! ! !This one might just be my Elgin masterpiece ! ! ! ! I snagged this one down under in Australia.This is a 1918 Elgin Trench Watch, 15 jewels, grade 464, size 3/0s with a bold Roman numeral RED XII dial.The enamel dial is in near perfect condition and these are the correct hands for this dial.The RED XII is gleaming ! ! ! ! The movement has been completely taken apart and cleaned, brand new mainspring, timing is almost perfect (+15 seconds per day).Quite rare Illinois Watch Case Company semi-hermetic case with swivel lugs, solid nickel ! ! !
