Father's Day Friday Watches
As mentioned last week, we will have themes for our Friday watch displays. This week we will show off our watche for Fathers Day.The Russian Army watch in the picture was my fathers favorite watch. He had searched flea markets back in the 1980's when they were popular. His cousin traveled to Russia and brought back one for her husband. He didn't care for the watch, so she gave it to my father. When my father passed away I asked my mother for the watch. The Hamilton in the photo was a sort of posthumous gift from my father. My fathers death benefits from his pension were greater than my mothe rwas expecting, so she sent each of us kids a check. I used some of that money for the Khaki Field Auto Chrono.Incidentally, the pipe was a gift to my father which I now have back.

Watch pickup in Germany
Hey everyone, first post on here! My boyfriend and I are going to be traveling around Europe for his 30th birthday this summer, including a stop in Germany (Berlin is on the list, not sure how long we'll be in country). I want to contact a watch maker/manufacturer in Germany, order a watch (stock or custom), and actually go to the company to pick it up while we're there for his birthday present. I'm a complete novice when it comes to watches so I don't even know where to start with this. Price range wise I'm looking at no more than $250 US, so I figure custom won't be an option.Any ideas or suggestions are greatly appreciated.
