Richard Mille 511.45.91-1 wrist watches news:
Carl F. Bucherer presents the new Manero ChronoPerpetual, combining a perpetual calendar with moon phase and leap year displays and a flyback chronograph with tachymeter scale. A Manufacture movement from Vaucher, with contemporary decoration in the distinctive style of the Lucerne-based Bucherer brand, creates the exclusive mechanical foundation for this new timepiece. The Manero ChronoPerpetual presents its myriad of temporal information in a clear, logical, and legible fashion. The displays at 12, 6 and 9 are divided into inner and outer sections or tracks, separated by a fine black line and further set apart by different colors and finishes: brushed silver contrasts with matte white. The inner tracks of the counters at 6 and 9 display the chronograph hours and minutes via shorter, black hands. Chronograph seconds are counted by the large, central seconds hand. Small continuous seconds are located at 12. The tapered hour and minute hands of the primary time display are Superluminova

The new Explorer II model 216570 debuted at the Basel 2011 show, but the watch was missing one item to make it the perfect watch, and that piece was the GlideLock clasp normally outfitted on the Rolex Submariners. Voil¨¤, a GlideLock clasp on my Explorer II. The GlideLock clasp should be standard on the Explorer II, but unfortunately the only way to pimp this watch was to source the GlideLock clasp separately. The great thing about the GlideLock Extension System is that it enables easy adjustments in 2mm increments and offers a total extension of up to 20mm, long enough to fit over a 3mm wetsuit, or on the outside of a long sleeve shirt or thin jacket.I have more comparison picts and a small write-up at here. With the GlideLock clasp, the watch is now perfect. -Sheldon
Hi guys,My SS Diver is now 18months old. I successfully sent away for the 3rd year sticker for my warranty book. I'm guessing now is the time for me to send it in to AP?Questions are,1 is there a cost for this service, 2 do I send direct to AP (how/where?) or via an AD, 3 do I include the warranty booklet, 4 will they service the watch/ polish the case or is that a cost option5 and how long will the process take Thanks so much
Anyone else have a bezel that appears off and either aligns 1/4 second to the left or 1/4 second to the right of the 12 o'clock position? I did several google searches and it seems like a pretty common issue. Every search I found pretty much said the same thing that it's a much more in-depth undertaking than just popping off the bezel, which I won't get into.It finally wore on me enough that I took it in to an AD today expecting to be missing it for a while. The watchmaker did confirm that the in-depth protocol is accurate. He said he could do it in-house, but he did suggest them sending it to Rolex after I expressed my concern of the open case and movement not being a dust-free environment, which he said he agreed with. However, he did recommend applying a small amount of clockwise pressure to the bezel because it's often one or more of the four click springs doesn't get set deep enough in the teeth/ratchet/gear/whatever. I'm not a technical guy so I'm ad libbing. Either way, I
