New member, hello to all!
Hi everyone, I'm a new member to the Hamilton Watch Forum, my name is Norm and I've been collecting Hamilton wristwatches for about four years. I really love Art Deco Watches and most of my Hamiltons are from the 1920's and '30's, all of my watches are mechanical. I know this is not the place to ask for parts, but I have less than 10 posts, so I hope that it will be O.K. with everyone. First question is; am I correct that the same stem is used in calibres 987, 987E, 987F, 979, 979F and 986A and that they are all tap 8? I am trying to find some NOS stems for these, Jules Borel lists them as pocket watch movements and the stems are tap 6. I'd really appreciate some info. and perhaps where to find some stems. I'll try and post some of my favorite watches soon. Regards, Norm

Visited the Panerai store while on vacation in Florence. Tried the 682 on and fell in love. Didn��t buy there because of no discount and vat was equal to buying at retail in the states plus dollar was at 1.24.. So my good buddy Thanh (Takuya) coincidentally got a 3 month old one in a few days upon my return to the states! It was meant for me!
