Reporting from Geneva: Zenith’s New Elite 681 Ultra Thin
We’ve arrived in Geneva for SIHH 2010 and our first stop Sunday night was an event hosted by Zenith’s new CEO Jean-Fr¨¦d¨¦ric Dufour at the Hotel Kempinski to introduce their new line. The room was packed, and Jean-Claude Biver stopped by to lend his support. The featured model is the Elite 681 Ultra Thin. Though we have been in Geneva only a few hours, it is evident that the trend toward restrained, classic styles started in 2009 carries over to his year, and Zenith’s new model follows that mantra. It features a new ultra-thin 40mm-diameter case housing the extra-slim (3.81mm) Elite 681 self-winding caliber, beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz) and providing a 50-hour power reserve.The case comes in a choice of 18-carat rose gold or stainless steel, while the sapphire crystal exhibition back provides a view of the movement with its tungsten oscillating weight adorned with C?tes de Gen¨¨ve.The domed sapphire crystal has anti-reflective coating on both sides provi

Hopes for my first Panerai
Hello All,As some of you may know I'm a proud/diehard Rolex fan and owner! My question would be, how good are these movements?...are they accurate, robust, well built, have long term consistency, and are they completely rebuilt and adorned by Panerai or are they just plain??.
