Bulgari BBW38GLAC4-C5 wrist watches news:
Which Breitling Quartz watches have Perpetual Calendars? I know that the Airwolf and Chronospace have them. The Emergency and Aerospace have day and date programmed for 4 years which would be effectively the same, certainly for most owners. What about models like the Galactic 30, Colt Quartz, Colt Oceane, Chrono Colt, Avenger Seawolf Chrono, and Avenger Seawolf Blacksteel? While at first blush it would seem counter intuitive with only a date displayed, Citizen does manage to do this using minute and hour hands to indicate month and year during the date setting process. Then, once set, the watch will display the correct date even on months with only 28, 29 or 30 days. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I've thought of this before, but I never tested it. I sometimes like to compare my watches and see which ones are more accurate. I wind them up, set all the time exactly the same, set them down, and compare them to a quartz watch 24 hours later. Sometimes I would put them on a cheap watch winder I got from Brookstone, but I determined that the thing was completely worthless.A couple of my watches would fall within COSC specs: A Ball Night Train that was recently regulated, a Hamilton auto which was also regulated, and an old Mido auto.My other watches including a Rado, a Rolex and a GP would fall a little outside of that, and others including Longines, vintage Hamiltons, a Swatch skeleton auto and a Rodania would fall around 15 sec. per day.Well, the last couple days I've been wearing my Rolex Date/Just. But this time I kept it wound up tight. Every 7 or 8 hours I would again wind it manually. This has really improved its accuracy! After 24 hours compared to my G-Shock, it is E
Found this on ebaylink: KNOTTED LUG SOLID 14K GOLD 40S VINTAGE LONGINESThought it was an interesting piece, and just curious on to how rare these are and what types of prices these normally go for. Thanks!
Just wondering what the position is re the case back seal. I have had the back off to regulate my SMP and would like to know if I need to exchange the o-ring for a new one each time the case back is removed? Got it running to within a second or two a day and the same over the course of a week with the occasional winder down position over night.I am not planning on diving, perhaps the occasional holiday swim. I have tightened up the case back with reasonable force, just seeking opinions before getting wet!Is it also worth changing the stem seal(s), is this a DIY job? If so does one release the stem with the winder in the winding or adjusting position? I assume there is some sort of detent spring that releases the stem. Does it simply re-insert? Am I out of my league and should I just give it to an AD.Also seem to be having a little trouble finding a OEM case seal in the UK (case ref 168.1622) by searching the web, are these seals fairly universal or do I need a genuine Omega one?
I have a 16610 (D serial) that i purchased new about 12 years ago. I also have a 16710 (also D serial) that i purchased second-hand. Per the warranty papers it was originally purchased about 3 months after i bought my sub.The actual serial numbers of the 2 watches differ by about 18,500. I'm just curious about this but am trying to figure out how close the production dates of these 2 watches might be. Any sense of production numbers in 2005/2006? in advance
