Jaeger LeCoultre 141.84.30 wrist watches news:
Ok here's the situation: I own two Seamaster 300M models, the 2254.50 (automatic) and the 2264.50 (same model, quartz version).I can only keep one of these two and although I've never left the quartz realm, now I'm really thinking of keeping the automatic version. However, there are some things that seem to cause trouble to my decision. So here we go:1. Is it true that any sudden moves of the hand like shakes or accidental hits on hard surfaces might compromise the automatic's accuracy? Will the quartz suffer from similar issues? Will a simple drop on the floor render the mechanism useless? Omega notes that these watches can withstand shocks up to 5000g. What's this? The whole thing about accidental hits and various hand movements of everyday activities that could damage the mechanism is really crucial to me. I thought that the Seamaster is built to withstand almost any difficult conditions and I wish this still is true :rolleyes:I'm not a road worker and I don't do any wall drilling sp
Is this watch readily available at the Boutiques or is there a waiting list?
I would like to know people's experiences concerning grade 5 titanium. Omega talk about the titanium being 'self healing'? Surely not?!What is it like to refinish? I can't imagine it differs too much from steel.Cheers
G'day everyone.. Over dinner just now, my friend who is very into watches, who owns 5711/1A asked me a question which me being the rookie myself I told him don't know but I can help him ask in the forum. He asked me which is better to better buy.. He told me 5235g being the very first PP regulator plus so hard to come by from AD make this watch that much more desirable n exclusive. He then told me the 5960/1A maybe a short run of 1 or 2 years n being SS hence should be a good investment...His question really confusing for me as I never heard anything about 5960ss discontinue anytime soon.. I m waiting for the 5235g myself too. I only know I like the watch very much cos it is very special n I love that dial! Now back to the question, I wonder what do you all think? Thank you in advance n looking forward to your kind feedbacks! .. Jane
I have bought/sold many watches last year ie( offshores , tt daytona, lv and sea dweller). My current collection is ( ROO elephant, ROO vampire, tt datejust 16013).last week I got the chance to buy tt submariner ceramic blue dial and to my surprise i loved it alot and asked my self why i did not think of it before . I bought it from AD brand new with all stickers at a perfect price and before wearing it i read here that there is probably a new movement coming to the professional line soon the 3235 which makes me felt a bit annoyed. I dont want to wear a watch that after a couple of months will be offered with updated movement thus i kept the watch in my drawer and waiting unpatiantly to basel this year. What do you guys think?? Noting that i bought the watch and may sell it to grey dealer for profit also
