Omega Releases New James Bond Seamaster “Skyfall” Limited Edition (Video)
You knew it was coming… as inevitable as James Bond seducing a femme fatale and ordering a shaken-not-stirred martini, Omega has launched its latest limited-edition Seamaster watch in anticipation of this fall’s long-awaited new Bond film, Skyfall. Bond, who was famously a Rolex wearer in the original novels by Ian Fleming, has been an Omega man in his big-screen incarnation since 1995’s Goldeneye, in which Pierce Brosnan, debuting in the role of Agent 007, wore an Omega Seamaster Pro. Both Brosnan and his successor, Daniel Craig, have worn Omega models in every Bond movie since. I have the black monster and the bracelet is comparable if not "meatier" than my Omega. I really like the look for the Pepsi SS diver,but I have heard the bracelet is not as robust. Anyone who has both care to shed some light. Thanks

Quartz Royal Oak Battery Change
My wife has a 33mm RO Quartz and the battery is now dead. I need some advice on how to go about getting a new battery. The forum here says:10. Stay away from a RO Quartz as changing the battery is something that needs to be done every 2-3 years. To change the battery you need to disassemble the whole watch. Remove the bezel, dial, hands, crown, etc. to access the movement and then replace the battery. If done by an independent there are a ton of things that can go wrong. Then again you will need to have AP do it and it gets really pricey even when it's just a battery change as they will still force you to do a periodic service.I would prefer not to send it in to Clearwater and skip the periodic service, is this something that my AP AD can do?thanks

Brand new 5164a in for service already!
Kind of bummed. One month old 5164 was losing 6 sec a day. Couldn't be regulated. Needs a full service. Even though its brand new it will still take 4 weeks minimum. Very disappointed. How did it leave the factory like this? This never happened to any of my Rolex watches.
