Received a really practical loupe today...
This is a 5-10x loupe with a difference - it comes with a bright LED light on the underside. The lighting makes a HUGE difference when it comes to looking at surface details. Every imperfection (including surface dust) is fully revealed under the even, white illumination. It's so good I don't think I'll use another loupe again.$3.20 shipped at dealextreme. At this price, everyone should own one and keep one as spare.Note: No affiliation to site. Just a satisfied customer. They do sell some watches, but they are mostly brandless multi-function geek variety (e.g. remote control cum timer).

By now I should know how to swap bracelets/bands, but...
I don't! I guess I shouldn't say I don't know how, I just don't know if there's a particular tool that makes it easier to avoid scratching the case or bracelet, or gouging the band. The two watches that I would like to be able to swap on are the OM that I'm awaiting, and a Bulova with a brown face and a small window that shows a portion of the movement. Others have posted photos of the same model, so I'm guessing many of you know which Bulova I mean.So, any suggestions for a bracelet/strap changing tool?Thanks!

Warning... Panerai Service (TX) returned my panerai with case damage...
Heard a lot of bad things about the service center in TX. Despite hearing all the bad things about them, never thought they could botch a simple bezel replacement (deeply scratched my 8 Days bezel on cement and nobody else has OEM bezels... ). Anyways, got it back and while the bezel looks great and the polish job is excellent (they even removed the screwdriver scratches from frequently changing straps), they left a pretty deep / gnarly set of DEEP scratches on the back of the case right near the screwdown back ... like someone was trying to unscrew or pry the back off with a pocket knife ?? clearly happened pre-polish so obviously not shipping/handling issues.Not even sure if I'll even send a complaint... I'm not planning on ever selling this piece (still love it).... or getting another Panerai ever again for that matter .
