Maurice Lacroix LC1008-SS001-330 wrist watches news:
I've been reading many of the previous posts on this site as I did some research on buying a watch. There are a lot of well informed folks who post and some of these helped me take the plunge. So I've had my 5153 officers watch for a few months and am very pleased with it. I'll post a photo although its hard to get a clear picture. Anyway just wanted to say thanks and share 009.jpg008.jpg
:) I just received my second Sparta 1 Tesla Cherry single winder. I was the one who posted under 'Orbita - DOA' and had such positive results from Orbita that I ordered a second one. They are both out in my bar room and I have been "racing" them against each other since this afternoon. As I sit out here with a 'cold one' (or two) I'll admit it's the simple things in life I find amusing. These two winders, one with a yellow NFW AP and the other with an Accutron Chrono w/7750 are just neat to look at.It's as much fun, if not more, than watchin' a bug wacker on a hot Juuuly night. LOL.I'm on the lookout for a Pirelli Auto with the 7750 movement. They seem to be blowing these Pirellis out for obscene prices. Apparently the 7750 was released in February or March of this year, but may be around again. If I manage to snag that (or any other self winder w/7750 for cheap) I'll be buying the third Sparta. Can't beat the price, quality or customer service!!!Tom
When I first got my Orange monster about 6 months ago, I was very happy. It was incredibly accurate to the tune of only gaining about 2 seconds a day. I wore it for about a month and one day all the sudden it gained about 25 seconds a day.I put up with it for about 3 months and took it to a friend who runs a watch repair shop with his father. He regulated it to about 4 seconds fast a day. I was happy.Well, this afternoon the watch dropped off my desk onto the floor. It didn't hit that hard but it did hit the hard plastic rug protector that is under my office chair.I wore it the rest of the evening and noticed it was 4 minutes fast. I checked it against my g-shock atomic solar and it is now gaining about 2 seconds every minute!I was hoping that it would be a little more rugged than this. At this rate it is going to gain several minutes a day which is intolerable.I am going to watch it for a few days and see if it settles down but if it doesn't, I am done with it. I don't need the aggrav
I had to flip my 15400ST because it just was too big for me. Well I really like the Rose gold RO’s so I stopped by AP in Clearwater and they let me try on some 39mm’s and they were perfect. So I started the long search and finally found this beauty. I think it fits me perfectly. Came with box and papers and 2 year warranty. I know AP still makes a 39 in the Jumbo but man I wish they would for their whole line. I’d love to get an offshore in 39 or at least 40mm.
Does anyone know if Omega made any Speedmasters under 40mm in size?
