But after procrastinating & looking around the web I am distracted by the JLC Master Control (in SS) , which seems to be around within my budget of a few grand.1) Are JLC considered an understated or ostentatious brand? In terms of brand prestige, is it as respected as Rolex?2) What kind of discount can I expect with JLC? Reasonably generous or minimal? (I would be buying new from an AD of course. Went to my local AD and he mentioned that Panerai is having a price increase on Monday, Oct 1st. I haven't seen a lot of chatter on the web....just one little blog entry somewhere. Has anyone heard of the price hike? Will it just affect certain models or it an an across the board increase?
