Breitling H7135612/B904 wrist watches news:
Oh, the sweet torment of researchSome of you have seen me falling head over heals the Zenith Elite Ultra Thin in another forumWell, in the permanent quest of perfection [just another way of saying "still do not have the cash to spend, so I'm trying to keep me sane"], I have started investigating alternatives, like the oh-so-awesome-looking NOMOS Zurich. One thing I notice on the website is that the movement is listed as "Movement: ε (epsilon)¡ªmanufactory caliber with automatic movement, black gold". I did some reading on Wikipedia to find out that this is a 75% gold alloy with 25% of something else (depending on color variation). I am posting to hear your thoughts on some of these questions: - Is black gold alloy tough enough to last decades (pass onto next generation)?- If price of the Zenith and the Nomos were equal: which one would you pick? Why?- If you had to pick a dress watch and you had the choice - with or without date? Thanks for your feedback
Hello, Any owners of these brands care to chime in with their thoughts of them. I am interested in Invicta 9937, 4469, and 4463, but I wanted to see how these compare first. In particular I like the Bernhardt Globe Master and the Debaufre/Steinhart Ocean 1. Thanks in advance!
Folks, I did do a search before asking....it has been a while since I was a regular on this site...so, can an old timer enlighten me as to what happened to this forum???...as I recall, there was a vintage Hamilton forum as well...and does anyone know what happened to regulars like Rusty, Foghorn, Bullrosa, and the Night watchman???

Hello I wanted to get opinions on the 15300OR in rose gold on a strap (white dial) as a watch that I could both dress up and down. Before I tried this watch on yesterday I was looking into a Patek 5296 in white gold as a dress watch. But when I tried this watch on I basically fell in love with it. I had always been hesitant in purchasing a gold watch because of my age (17) I didn’t think that I was old enough to pull off a gold watch. I need a watch that I can use as a dress watch but when I tried this watch on it also felt a slight bit causal. So my question, do you guys think this watch works for both a dress watch and a casual watch or do you think it only does one category well.
