Patek Philippe 3738/001 wrist watches news:
With my new Breitlitng I got a COSC certificate with no test data on it. It just says that the movement passed the test. Has anyone gotten the actual COSC test data for their watch? If you want the information do you have to request it? If so does anyone know how much it cost to get it? I know another brand that I got that was also has a COSC movement you just got a card. If you want the data you can order to and it cost close to $50.00. I am not willing to pay for the test results. The watch is running within COSC specifications. It would just be interesting to see. Thanks for any input on this.
I have been looking for all the Solid Gold Illinois for some timeand thanks to Rick, I scored another oneSo, thought I would take a quick group shot. Now it is still a mystery as to how many different solid gold variations Illinois actually made, because from time to time, another "Custom" pops up. (people actually ordered them from the factoryand these are holy grails today)Here are some very very scarce Illinois.2 "one of a kinds"2 "3 known"2 "around a dozen known"
Hello Guys I am considering getting my wife a RO too. She loves wearing my 15400, but it's a bit on the large size for her (not that it prevents her from using it). Since there are no ADs anywhere close to where we live and I would rather make a surprise, I was wondering if anyone could share pictures of the 39mm 15300 of the 37mm 15450 in a 15,5cm / 6,2 inch wrist. Thank you Andr¨¦
... the devil is in the details.I would like to share some (poorly taken!) macros of one of my favorite watches on this relaxing Sunday afternoon. Seen close-up I realize that there are many hidden details in this magnificent watch. I think this is something that keeps many collectors coming back to this brand: great depth in line-up, rich history and the actual watch(es) worn on your wrist have a lot more than you may have initially expected!Enjoy the weekend guys.
I made a deal with another collector on a Rolex a few days ago, and the email came from FedEx letting me know the package I asked to have held at their location was ready for my retrieval. Oh boy! Wanna come along on the errand with me?Over coffee I enjoyed the view of this beautiful morning in its cold, crisp starkness, and I reflected on the adventures of Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay, who relied on early Oyster Perpetual watches in conditions tougher than these when they climbed Mount Everest.Since I wouldn't be traveling by dog sled to retrieve my package, I figured my Omega Aqua Terra was suitable equipment for the trip. I wonder if Sir Edmund or Tenzing liked Omega watches, too...IMG_0293 by Tony Cariffe, on FlickrAh, here we are!IMG_0294 by Tony Cariffe, on FlickrNow, seeing as it's Saturday, and since the weather is so nice, and I just happen to have my clubs in the trunk, I decided to get a little golf in before going ho
