- I saw the other comments and they helped me decide. I love it and am very happy. It is definately a quality watch and looks and feels like one. Yes, slightly larger face than I had wanted, but love it and it looks great.

- I am so very happy with this watch, it is more beautiful than I expected. It looks wonderful with anything I wear. The only thing I would want is a little longer band, but it still works great. I would recommend this watch to all.

- It is a very nice watch but I didn't realize how enormous the watch was. The face is like 3/4 of inch thick and ger than a silver dollar.

I am sure some members can remember my questions concerning the Rolex Datejust Turn-O-Graph. Last weekend my AD receive this watch and I was really looking forward to see and buy this watch. But ( I am so sad!) the tiemepiece wasn¡ät my taste. I miss the love at first sight and so my stomach say "DON¡äT BUY - SEARCH ANOTHER PROJECT".Now I falling in love with Rolex Explorer I Ref.:114270. Before I bought the Rolex AirKing I was looking for a Explorer. It is a classic sportive watch in my mind.Made for connoisseur and gentlemen. Also for active sportsmen. A watch for a suit, discotheque and riffle range. (Not made for a member of the colombian cocaine mafia with a white distinguished suit. I am sure they prefer Submariner Yellow Gold or Day Date Yellow Gold. :agree:)How do you think about this watch? Is it possible for you to give me some impressions and your experience with this tiemepiece? Maybe you can advise me good articles and webpages to collect infos. Will it fit in my collection?
Proud owner of my very first Breitling which just arrived today, as well as my very first automatic chronograph (Montbrillant Datora). As I am new to this movement I want to make sure to treat it right. My research has shown that you should not change the day/date during the 8pm-2am timeframe. I have also read that the base movement, the 7751, has a moon phase feature (obviously not used on the Datora) that cannot be used during the 12am-6am timeframe. My questions are, is it ok to manually wind the watch via the crown during these timeframes? I usually give the crown a couple of twists when I take it off at night to give it some power until the morning. And second, when Breitling modifies the 7751, does it remove the moonphase feature completely? Should I play it safe and go past 6am in the morning if I have to set the date? I know the moonphase on the 7751 uses the same crown position as the date, and until I get familiar with this watch I am sure I will twist the crown in the wrong
OK, we know that some were named after famous explorers. So we have one that is named after, well not Amundsen but the one who missed the golden goal. Others like the Byrd, Livingston or Andrews, Stanley,...And at least one of the electrics was named after an employee. But what's the thing behind all the other strange names? Are they totally random chosen or is something known in old archives and the like how they decided that this watch gets the name "Ryan" and that one "Ross". Was it maybe even the privilege of the best employee of the month to get his/her name chosen for a model or is it just that some designer thought, hey this looks like, uhm, an Endicott. What do you think?
Hey everyone , I've seen a few vintage omega constellations in in the watch talk and was hoping to snag one. I found this on ebay, MENS OMEGA CONSTELLATION SS PIE PAN HEART INDEX Cal.561 on eBay.ca (item 180614946018 end time 27-Jan-11 13:34:45 EST) , and wondered what everyone thought. What's it worth, is it collectible. I really know nothing about vintage watches or ebay for that matter so any advise will do.Thanks in advance Eric...
