Baume & Mercier M0A08795 wrist watches news:
The Breguet 7787 Classique Moon Phases is available in 39mm and 36mm sizes, and in white and red gold with a dial that is hand-engraved on a rose engine, and two versions in red gold, one with a grand feu enamelled dial, and one set with diamonds. This last configuration will be sold only in pairs, in a box available exclusively in Breguet boutiques and also containing a pair of cufflinks and a matching gem-set pendant. The Classique Moon Phases watch has central hour, minute and seconds hands, as well as two complications: a moon phase at 12 o¡¯clock and a power-reserve indicator at 3 o¡¯clock. The power reserve is displayed by an elegant elongated hand. The watch contains the Breguet Calibre 591 DRL, a self-winding mechanical movement only 3.02 mm thick. It has a double barrel, which gives it a 38-hour power reserve, as well as a silicon escapement and balance-spring. Silicon is extremely light for better shock resistance, non-magnetic, and does not require lubrication. Some of the aest
I admit to loving this watch. It just exudes cool to me, but in a really understated way. This to me is a non-flamboyant, flamboyant watch. I've mentioned Temption Formula (and Classic) Rally watches before, but in my opinion this version is the nicest. Other models have yellow or blue trim coloring as opposed to the red in this watch. To me, the red contrasts the best with the black PVD case and dial, not to mention being the most powerful looking.Temption is a powerhouse little German watch maker that churns out a scant 700 watches a year on average. Why the limited production? Because that is about all one can produce and maintain high levels of quality and consistency. The president of the company is involved in most every watch, ensuring a high level of detail and craftsmanship. I own a different Temption watch (the Temption CGK203,which I happen to be wearing right now), and can easily attest to the joy of ownership. Unlike many German watches, Temption timepieces are not just ma
Hamilton has released a new Pilot model. I think this is a nice addition to their khaki aviation line, nice and simple, It is keeping with their traditional styling. It also is available in a quartz version. What are your thoughts?
I know we've gone back and forth with oversized watches being in and out of fashion, but in general how big do you think is too big, or is it it totally dependent on wrist size? This Graham Tourbillograph at 47mm is quite a chunky piece...but would it fit under a shirt or suit and still look good?
Has anyone ever heard of the watch company Phillipe Juillard.I can post pics if neededThank you.
