I just picked up AP 15202 couple days ago; but found that mine was H-serie with all the appearances of the I-serie (e.g. AP logo, Swiss made layout). Is this normal practice by AP to still distribute H-serie;while already launched the I-serie?? Does it have anything to do with regions or country of purchase? Any comment would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Does anyone know what this model is, or what it is worth to buy? The back wouldn't latch shut. Has some scratches on the surface.
Hello AllJust spoke to my preferred AD.Your on the list......BUT this is going to be as in demand as the Daytona, the wait will be VERY VERY long. Damn those guys have a really professional way of tell you that your screwed!Any of you have a similar experience?A Youtube watch personality that many of us know used to work at an AD and mentioned they would have a safe full of Daytonas and would not sell them people that were not preferred customers (people who have spent lots of money with that AD).The reality is if you are not a repeat preferred customer then your pretty much screwed. At this point I feel this is really a special treat watch only available at retail for very good customers or gray market scalpers (they pay a lot of money too).I guess the reality of this sinking in kind of sucks but then again this is a first world problem and i should just get over it and look at something else....besides I have my Batman and other trinkets to occupy the space on my wrist:)I do look f
Today, after 5 years collecting watches, more than 20 pieces of different brands and 3 different Rolex watches, I've finally putted myself in the waitlist for my grail: Rolex Submariner 116610LV, The hulk!I have to say that I'm quite excited, even when this same happened to me since I've bought my first luxury piece, an Omega SMPc, or when I've got my first submariner, the iconic 16610. But this time feels different, I'm going for my grail, the first one I saw back in 2012 and became my dream watch. The truth is, last year, I've found myself with more watches that I had the chance to wear, so decided to consolidate my collection in no more than 5 pieces plus a G shock, and that's exactly what I did. I currently have a Rolex GMTc LN, a Rolex Explorer I mk2, an Omega SMPc, Omega Speedy FOIS and a Breitling Navitimer A23322 blue dial, all pieces that I love and wear quite often but someting was missing, specially around my GMT which has been sat in the box since I acquired the explorer, a
