Omega 12310246055004 wrist watches news:

I need information on this vintage Benrus.
My father worked for the Quaker Oats company in Chicago. During WWII he was liaison with the Army, helping to develop freeze-dried food for the troops. He was given this Benrus by the Army in appreciation of his work. The emblem on the front says "The Quartermaster Citation". The back has serial #666929. It also came with a printed citation award, signed by Col Rohland A. Isker. I'm guessing it is from 1945. Does anyone know anything about this watch. Is it worth anything? Ventura 50th anniv automatic
Hello all. I just got my first ever Hamilton watch- the Ventura 50th anniversary automatic model. I got it for two reasons- I have a thing for limited editions and it had my birthdate numer (0027/1957). If not for these reasons, im not really sure I would have bought it- because it has no date and th e hands are not that legible. But overall, Im quite happy with my new baby. I would like to ask for your opinions on this particular model- good or bad. Thanks and looking forward to more postings- you guys seem really nice.
