Rado R12694213 wrist watches news:
I just received my new Breitling Superocean II 44 Black just yesterday. This is my first luxury watch purchase after owning Movado, Timex, Uniform Wares in the past. I did a lot of research and wanted a dive watch. Initially, I purchased a new Tudor Pelagos from a seller here and the watch had a faulty in-house movement. I was really quite disappointed, although I was promptly refunded which eased the pain a bit. After being refunded, I thought, it's time to save for a Rolex Submariner. However, one thing bothered me...my 40mm watches look slightly undersized on my wrist. I continued to save for the Sub. Then I stumbled backwards upon the Superocean II 44 in Black and began to look at images online. There's really not that many great photos out there, not a ton of instragram posts with this one...but I really liked the few that I saw. I pulled the trigger earlier this week with Alfred (FNFZ4), who was wonderful to deal with and just received the watch yesterday. It looks so good in per
I just purchased the Co-axial 8500 PO not loving how it sits on my wrist its a rather thick watch I guess im use to the thinner profile of my rolex watches so my question is there a thinner version of the PO ? I love the look of the omega over the rolex sub thats why i bought the 8500. I think its spec'd at 16.5 MM thick.Ed
Whilst on my travels in Florence I visited the PP dealer on the Ponte Vecchio and a very kind sales woman showed me a 5980/1R that had just arrived that morning! She explained that it will never be put in the window and that it will only be brought out to people showing interest in the Nautilus range or offered to their best customers. She also explained that they get one SS model of a few references a year which are sold to her top Italian customers. A cool story I thought I would share, if you ever get the chance I would highly recommend visiting! There is also a quirky AP Boutique on the bridge.
I don't know why but pictures of the 5960 never quite caught my attention at all.In the flesh it was a different case.I don't know how else to explain it, but it is just such a cool watch! Being mostly dressed in casuals, I find this is one of few options out there with Patek for a casual watch with complications (excluding the Nautilus/Aquanaut line).Went back again after I had left to try it on, simply because it is hard to come by in the flesh, I wanted to see it again, and I was in Frankfurt just for the day.Definitely a possibility for one to come in the future.Would love your feedback, and also other options for complicated Pateks that in your opinion work well with casuals. Thanks everybody!
Hi,I travel a lot, so I've been thinking that an Aquanaut dual time would make a good companion for my Nautilus. But I don't see it listed in the sticky price list. Anyone know what the retail price is on that?
