Franck Muller 9880-CCQP wrist watches news:
Over at Haute Living I discuss the new limited edition Richard Mille RM011 Ti Americas White watch. An interesting looking watch made in honor of the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, Canada. The watch will only be available in North America, making it one of those rare regional limited edition timepieces for USA and Canadian shores. The unique movement has a chronograph as well as a contemporaneous countdown timer (60 minutes). It also has an annual calendar. A very unique looking with watch a useful movement. The case is in DLC coated titanium. Price is $90,000, and read the my full article on the Richard Mille RM011 Ti Americas White watch here at Haute Living. When is a limited edition a limited edition?Yesterday, during a luncheon speech one of the attendees asked the above question. As we see more and more limited editions appearing I thought my answer to this question might be of interest to more than just the limited number of attendees yesterday. ;-)What constitutes a limited edition? In my understanding it could be a watch commemorating an event. For instance a get-together of car enthusiasts. A very special sports event. The opening of a building. The watch either offered or sold at such an event should have a special caption either on the dial or on the bottom of the case clearly stating the event. It could also be a watch that is manufactured for a very short period of time but never in excess of 50 to 100 units. What is important here is that the tools to manufacture the special dial, the special case or whatever renders this particular watch a limited item in volume is never used again in the future for a series watch. The term li
Ive had my Evolution for about 7-8 years and I looked down at my wrist the other night when I was out and noticed my Crown (middle one) came off? I checked my pockets and floor and couldn't find it. What do you guys suggest? Can I just purchase one and screw it back on (is that how it works?) I contacted Breitling through the internet and they sent me a box to send it back, but then realized I don't want to do a full service and wait forever. Thanks guys!
I have a chance to Purchase a N series 233. Watch only no box and papers for $6000. Reliable source in excellent condition. Would you do this deal?Thx
Looking for input as I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on a ss daytona (116520) but have not been able to find one to try on locally.I find the fit of the 5 digit GMT perfect - but previously had the 6 digit SUB and found it more top heavy / bulkier then I expected that led me to sell the watch.Any input on how the daytona compares to the GMT for everyday comfort / wear? Weight and size wise (on paper), the two watches appear very similar - so I would expect the fit to be about the same?
