Audemars Piguet Audemars Piguet 2229 wrist watches news:
Ok guys so finally pulled the triger on this beauty!!! Been after this for a couple of years now but something or the other always happened and was unable to get it.... but Finally it's here... here are a few pics.. enjoy!
Hey guys, I'm looking for suggestions for strap options for my 41mm rose gold royal oak chrono. Best places to get them? Mine is on the black alligator strap with the RG folding clasp, but it's slightly uncomfortable while i'm breaking it in, and the clasp folds the wrong way (compared to my Rolexes) so that the end of the folded clasp is pressed right against the inside bone in my forearm/wrist.What do you guys think?
Hey guys.So basically I have gotten the chance to try on the 15202.Although the watch wears much larger than your usual 39MM watch, I don't have a problem with the dial, however the bracelet being stiff does not sit on my wrists properly. It is very loose and removing links would not help change that.I am very picky with the way a watch rests on my wrists, and always prefer it to barely move, so the big bracelet on the 15202 was a deal breaker for me, which was really a bummer. Is the 15300 the same? I haven't had a chance to try one on, but am curious if I would have the same problem?I have 6 wrists in case you guys are wondering.I guess the shape of the wrists also comes into factor here. Thanks in advance!!
After a long hiatus, I'm trying to get back into watch collecting. The only watch left in my stable is an IWC Portuguese 5001 in steel with a black dial. I used to have a 111, but sold it to fund other things. Now I'm itching to add a Panerai back to my collection. My first thought is perhaps the most obvious choice: the 372. That said, I'm feeling the itch to be a bit more adventurous. The 504 caught my eye. Generally, I prefer the base models or those with sub-seconds. I'm also biased toward in-house movements because I'm that kind of snob. Let's further assume this will be the only Panerai in my collection. What is the right choice? The 372 is close to winning out, but I wonder if it's too pedestrian to represent a manufacturer/brand known for unique special editions. Thanks!
If you are a automatic watch enthusiast like myself, these test are not only mandatory but interesting and fun. . .I love knowing what my watches movements are capable of. . These test are also a very good idea to keep a record of your automatics performance for future reference. .If your time starts to slip or power reserve starts to fall, you know its time for a service. . On with the test.........I just finished a main spring / power reserve test of my new Panerai N Pam 104. . . I started the the test Sunday morning at 9am by winding the watch fully and setting the time. . I then set the watch in my watch box making sure not to touch or move it for the duration of the test. .I then periodically monitored its accuracy as the mainspring winds down . . . The power reserve spec for the OPIII movement is 42 hours... My results were surprising. .The watch has be regulate to a incredibly high standard. . .The OPIII movement in my watch keeps a outstanding accuracy rate of 0 seconds + or -
