Omega 123.50.35.20.02.002 wrist watches news:
I keep my watches in a safe in our garage and it gets down around 45 degrees F during the winter. Will this affect the movement in a bad way?ThanksTim
I know these are 2 different watches, but given the somewhat similar price points, roughly $34K on the AP vs. $38K on the PP, which would you go for?I guess I'm looking for a piece with rubber strap to get ready for warmer weather and casual wear on weekends.I have tried on the AP 26405 CE 44 Chrono recently and it was pretty sweet in the flesh. I am first on the list for the 5168G at my AD with no firm commitment to purchse yet since I need to see how the 42mm size fits.I'll be posting this on the AP forum as well to get a fair assessment.
This community is so valuable with the sharing of information and relationships. Another benefit is being able to try different watches without too much of a financial hit. With that said, I'm on my 5th AT 8500. I've had Opaline, grey, black/golf and blue in that order. All are very nice and would welcome any of them in the future. Obviously I have learned that I need to have an AT in the collection. So here is the latest: 41mm SS/Opaline dial/Rose gold markers. The bracelet was ordered separately with polished links which I think gives it a dressier touch. After 5 days with my 5th AT, I have to say I'm liking this one. On strap or bracelet, it has a nice dressy, almost vintage hint to it. The Rose Gold markers change quite a bit in different lights from rich rose to almost silver - very cool. Thanks for looking!
I bought a new BLNR from a very small AD (they may sell a few watches a month) in September 2016 and called about the new 126710BLRO. They told me I was the first to inquire so I'm #1 on the list. However, I was told they probably wouldn't see one in their store for 2-3 years. At least they didn't ask for a deposit
Going to the States in a Week and looking for a DJ TT and I am on a 3600$ watch budget. What could I hope to find in Vegas for that price? In terms of year, model etc. (gave up on looking for a watch from Norway as they are too expensive).
