Movado 0605586 wrist watches news:
This is the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Concept Laptimer, a brand new "RO Concept" that I feel may very well be the most striking Royal Oak iteration?since the Offshore Survivor. As its name suggests, this brand new, highly complicated movement was created to be able to measure and record a series of consecutive lap times. Such a watch?was commissioned?back in 2010 by Audemars Piguet ambassador and 7-time Formula 1 world champion Michael Schumacher, and it took the?manufacture almost five years to come up with a solution ¨C and fit it into what else but the Concept case, dressed in forged carbon and titanium. In discussions with master watchmakers over the last few years, I have often taken the opportunity to ask, when creating a new movement from scratch,?what?complication is the most?challenging to conceive and produce.?I would venture saying that the single-axis tourbillon, no matter how tirelessly fascinating and beautiful,?was not once mentioned: it was more of a dead heat between chi
I got a friend from a friend who owns one of these. It's a leather band with 2 red stitches running down. Looks like a chrono watch. Black face dial with a stainless steel look. Here are some pics below. Or Can of you watch gurus recommend a watch similar in characteristics? Thanks for your time
HiJust wanted your opinion on my newly acquired 15300. It seems to be in very good shape, but I've never had the chance to compare polished vs not polished. Take a look at these photos and let me know what you think. Thanks
So I am looking into buying my first Patek potentially as my next watch purchase and have been leaning towards a pre-owned 3919J however I was curious about previous similar 3 hand calatrava references that may have been available over the last 40 years or so that I may find preferable to the 3919. Any suggestions of where I could find something online that would have the info on the past calatravas so I can see what else is out there? Or is anyone aware of some other references I should research of look into? Looking for a three hand, no date, manual wind in the 33-37mm range. I do prefer the roman numeral dial of the 3919 over say the applied hour markers on the 5196J put am not a fan of the 3919 hob knob case finish.
I was looking at some Tudor 76200 day dates in Japan and wondered if anybody has used Kyoto-Japan or Japan-retro?,, it seems quite a few pieces are new, unused but dont say if it includes, boxes but includes warranty?,,,,, Will need to message the dealers to find this out,,,, Any information much appreciated,,,,,,
