Invicta 13630 wrist watches news:
Thinking of buying a new rolex sub two tone. I know they have made some changes to the watch. so Just looking for input to see if anyone has one and how they like it.
When the United States went to war in 1917, the Army turned to Hamilton for its timekeeping needs. Accurate time was crucial for military operations, and the Hamilton railroad watch became the standard for the American Expeditionary Forces. Approximately 1,000 Hamilton pocket watches were purchased by the Corps of Engineers for the supervision of railroad operations in France. The USACE museum artifact collection (located at the Humphreys Engineer Center) possesses one such Hamilton pocket watch. Interestingly, it is not marked ¡°Engineer Corps U.S.A.¡± as directed in the procurement documents. Rather, the dial is simply marked ¡°Hamilton¡± as were the civilian models. However, the watch is inscribed on the reverse ¡°4 World War 1917-1919¡± and includes the engineer castle.Source: Office of History-US Army Corps of Engineers
Hi,My brothers and I inherited this Longines 13zn from our father. Because we didn't know what this watch was worth we contacted Longines for more information and at first they wanted the buy the watch! This is their first reply:Dear Mrs M.,We thank you for contacting us and for your interest in Longines watches.Originally, the serial number 6989700 identifies a wrist-chronograph in steel bearing the reference 5699, fitted with a Longines manually wound mechanical movement, caliber 13ZN. It was invoiced on 25.10.1948 to the company Wittnauer, which was at that time our agent for the USA.We are in fact interested in buying your watch for our Museum, and are ready to offer you € 26'000.- for it. We hope that this proposal will be acceptable to you and are looking forward to hearing from you.Besides, could you please send us additional pictures of the case back of the watch ?Waiting for your reply, we remain at your entire disposal for any additional information you may require.Sincerely

Hello Everyone, Im looking to purchase my first AP watch and I was wondering what the cheapest 42mm-44mm ROO would be. Over the years I have purchased a couple of Breitlings, but there seems to be something really desireable about AP watches. I've thought about a rolex, but I see every other person with one on. Can someone help?
