IWC Purchase From AD
I am a Rolex/Breitling owner and have always purchased pre-loved. I am now expanding my horizons and IWC is the direction I am headed.This has been easy with my Rolex(s) because the preloved market, and sources of information seems much more robust then with IWC. I want an IWC for my next watch and am looking for everyones expertise. If I knew how to do a poll I would.Questions:1) Did you purchase from an AD, gray market, or pre-loved?2) If purchased from an AD what is an acceptable discount to try for in terms of percentage. (10%, 15%, 20%?) Any other advice on pricing and selecting an IWC? I am looking at the Inge/Aquatimers but am open to suggestions.

is 44mm dial size is too big ?
this might be a classic questions , but honestly speaking, a lot of people nowadays still thinks that 44 mm ( what about above 44mm? ) is way too big for average person, while others might say that that size is for casual , leisure type of watches,,,, a big No for a serious, dress watch what do you think ? your personal opinion would be highly appreciated many thanks in advance..rgdsPete J

What Happens When You Finally Obtain Your Grail?
I was thinking about this the other day and many of us have a grail watch that in a perfect world we'd love to own but in some respects the thrill of the chase keeps the interest in watches going strong. If you finally find yourself in possession of your grail, what happens then? Is the quest over or do you then replace your grail with another grail?

I¡¯m not a huge AP guy, so forgive my ignorance. Is the 15305 a boutique only model? I¡¯ve always loved the look of the royal oak and own a 15400, but there¡¯s just something about the skeleton. People will probably say ¡°duh¡±, but these watches are hard to find. Just curious what the diehard AP guys know. Thanks!

Real mad at Rolex and ADs!!!!!!
If you think of it, a lot of us here consider it a privilege to get the mighty call to go spend $12k+ for a daytona or to be honored to make it to the blessed waiting list for a $10k hulk!!!It should really be the other way around!! When I¡¯m spending $10k on an unnecessary item (luxury and completely unnecessary) paying premium, where the dealer is making upwards of 40% off of me I would expect to be treated with utmost respect not the stories I read here about dealers keeping those pieces for their ¡°favorite¡± customers!! I understand the supply and demand and might understand keeping supply less (slightly) than demand to keep value but what¡¯s doing on now is crazy!! Unless Rolex messed up big time estimating their production volume for the year, they are going out of business (highly doubt it) or have a sadistic CEO I don¡¯t get it!!But for ADs to supply grey market and deprive high paying customers that I do not get at all!!!I¡¯m just mmmmaaaaaaaddddddd There isn¡¯t any unnecessary item
