Now up to 45 mm in width (an increase of 43 mm) the Baume & Mercier Riviera XXL Magnum beats the old XL in size and design for the look of the sportier version of the standard Riviera watch that was not exactly stoppered first. Complications include a 30-minute flyback chronograph powered by automatic REF. 8834 mechanical movement that is likely to be a modified Valjoux 7750. The dial of the watch is something that you have probably noticed. Call it the skeleton, the call a "view to the movement", the dial is actually a Sapphire tinted black. The text and the Roman numerals are applied directly on the dial tinted in light.

Hi All,I was givin a gold Hamilton quartz wrist watch that has the model# 9812 on the back. It has "100 yr's of pride" on the upper part of the dial & "1889-1989 on the bottom. The word Hamilton is at the very top. It has the letters U & A in large letters in the middle. The dial is a sort of champayne color with gold lettering. Can anyone tell me what it's worth in good condition with all paper work & box, & also approx what it sold for in 1998?

First Patek - 5726A 5712A or 5711
Need advice from Patek aficionados:So I am in the market for two new watches. Flipping some useless Jewelry into exemplary horological pieces. Currently my budget allows:The first watch is the AP 26320ST blue dialThe second watch will most likely be a Patek. I am debating between the 5726A or the 5712A blue dial. I also like the 5711 well for its simplicity. A little information about myself, I am 6'2, 220lbs, Asian who work as an investor/entrepreneur/community organiser. 16710 BLRO + 97200 Glidelock Bracelet = Perfection
So I was fortunate enough to source a 97200 ( Ceramic Sub ) Bracelet. I am honestly not a fan of the newer ceramic Sub and GMT models and don't really like the fat lugs. But the new Sub bracelet is just pure perfection in my opinion. Now I have placed the glidelock bracelet on my 16710 this morning and it's amazing. It's an absolute perfect fit and feels great on the wrist. I will also install this bracelet on my 16610 when I decide to switch watches. Cheers
