Here's a watch that is high on my list of "must have" watches, but I have never seen anyone here at the forum talk about them. I tried a few on while I was on vacation last year, and they really looked good on the wrist and they left a lasting impression I have'nt forgotten about.I'm talking specifically about the Admiral Cup Series. I'm hardly a sailor of any kind, but I love the nautical theme of these pieces and I love the 12 sided cases. Very distinct and different IMO - Any opinions?

Vintage values - up again?
Are sellers getting a little over the top with their prices, or are premium vintage prices on the rise again? We've discussed this a while back, but it might be a good time to rehash this subject. The reason I'm asking is because of IWC prices. Had a line on a caliber 89 in 18ct that was unserviced but very nice. The seller wouldn't take less than $1500 thinking that's what he could get for it on eBay. He doesn't realize that parts can get expensive for it. Another forum member also asked for help finding a ribbon lug case R521 like huntershooter, WiLL, and myself own but is having difficulty tracking one down in nice shape for under $3000 (asking price) for any watch that comes serviced with a warranty. Have any of you noticed any significant rise in price in the higher echelon pieces from the brands you chase?

Polished Center Links Wear/Patina
Does anyone have pcl watch that you wear daily with the center links scratched up (normal wear and tear)? I love the newer bracelets but don��t like the polished jewelry look. I��m interested to see what this watch or similar and its bracelet look like out in the wild with normal wear and tear. I��m interested in the 36dj ss dome bezel.
