Baume & Mercier MOA08485 wrist watches news:
I can't seem to find any photos of the Cal. 1164 or even the 1154, only the Valjoux 7750. Anybody?
I have a Longines L4.708.4 automatic watch, but found that every couple of months I'd wake up and the time is out by 20 - 40 minutes from the real time. This happens because the watch stops. Now usually I'd guess it is because it is not getting enough movement in the night, but surely a day's activities will wind it up enough to last the night? I am not an overly active person in the work week, I work on computers, so not sure if that contributes to the problem.Secondly, I have read elsewhere that even automatic watches need to be manually wound from time to time. My instruction manual does not cover my specific model, so I could not get clarity on the matter. So two questions:1) Does my watch support manual winding?2) Do I need to manually wind it and how often? Lastly, is my watch functioning correctly by sometimes halting like this? This is my first mechanical watch so I am new to this.
I just got my Zenith C6 back from the Zenith Service Center. I can only pray the work they did on the inside was better than work they did on the outside. The watch case was pristine when I sent the watch to them. When the watch was returned to me, the case back was all scratched up, and I could also see a tool mark where they opened the case back on the side next to the crown. The case back is supposed to be removed at a location between the lugs. It looks like a complete amateur worked on the watch. They even nearly destroyed my warranty card. I'm going back to the AD and make a formal complaint about the service center's quality of work. I will NEVER send another watch to the New Jersey service center. I'm furious about the terrible quality of their work, and I'm going to post this on every watch forum I'm a member of. I doubt I will ever buy another Zenith watch again because of this. The gouge in the case next to the crown looks to be unrepairable without replacing the case. I'v

I just purchased this NaviWorld from an apparently reputable dealer in Michigan:cgi.ebay/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...=STRK:MEWAX:ITAny Breitling gurus out there that can verify or refute it's authenticity? It's coming without papers or booklets (which is unfortunate since I need to know how that crazy rotary slide rule works).Any input would be much appreciated. Thanks!
