Baume & Mercier M0A08778 wrist watches news:
Would it be possible to start a thread that not only shows the new MSRP pricing, but what the best price that someone has gotten from an AD. You could set up a few rules, like must be from an AD. Then have a US section and an international section and maybe a cash or credit option price.A reference for all of us to turn to for an idea what might be possible. What do you guys think? If we did this I would try and keep it as simple as possible, since it would be more of a refernce of what the bottom end might be with an AD.
I have heard rumor from my AD that Rolex is due for another increase in March. Does anyone have any information on this? I am considering a SS Daytona White face to add to my collection and wonder if I should get it soon before the next increase.
Picked up a CSAR recently. Here are a few pictures along with my Speedy Pro
I read an article on another Rolex Forum (no names) about a theft of 60 Rolex watches in Japan, 40 mil yen worth. I'm sure they'll be hitting Ebay and other local less-than-honest websites very soon. Be aware. Check it out japantoday/category/c...atches-in-kobeBob
It is a while since I browsed the forum.I return and find the whirlwind once again around steel sports models. When I bought my first Rolex a 5513 (wish I still had it now) around twenty years ago,a Steel sub date had an 18 month waiting list and a steel Daytona 7 years!!Things did change over the years,You did see steel ceramic sub dates in dealer windows now and again and the steel Daytona list got down to a month at a dealer I use.We are now fortunately well out of a double dip recession and Rolex is again doing what I believe it does best, engineering it's own hype.It is my belief that Rolex is limiting supply on the steel sports models to create the position it was in twenty years ago.The general publics perception that what they are buying is illusive and they have to be on a waiting list only increases the value of the piece in their eyes.Low and behold the release of the new Daytona(fortunately for me,a watch I don't lust after). It would surprise me if the ceramic model hasn't be
