First Rolex in 1996 Oyster Perpetual Datejust Shots of my 2007 Z series Rolex Oyster Perpetual Submariner Date All photos were taken with my cheap Cannon A610 Powershot. I'm not really into photography, but I had fun with it. I will try to get a pic of my Breitling Colt Super Quartz II. It has a black leather deployment strap and for some reason i could not get a decent pic worth posting.

I Finished One of my FAVORITE American Watches Today ! ! !
I finished one of my FAVORITE American watches earlier today. It's a 1927 Elgin with a BOLD Roman numeral RED XII dial that has the "MADE in USA" stamp! I simply love these watches! The gold filled case on this one is amazing and it still has the original factory crown that is nice and FAT. It's a Keystone "Cyclone" cushion case and none of the gold fill has been worn away. I love the thinner 16mm lug configuration on these cases, it looks MUCH more sleek than the bigger 19mm versions. It has a clean 15 jewel movement from 1927. Also installed a new brown genuine Lizard band and new crystal. The combination of the RED XII dial, the brown Lizard band and the gold filled case is amazing in my book!

To cut a long story short, I was in Puerto Banus the other day and spotted a ROO Bucherer edition (one of my favourites) on someone and wanted to mention to them my admiration however I thought it may come across as rude. Would love to know your thoughts and if you had ever been in a similar situation or the other way around where someone has stopped you to comment on what you're wearing and if you were unhappy about it?

Omega identification/age/value question
I had posted yesterday about my seamaster deville (and noted I was having problems uploading my great grandfathers watch). I've been having problems with photobucket, but i was just able to upload. All I know about this watch is it was my great grandfathers dress watch. Looks to be gold. The straps are strange (he wore them backwards and I'm sure they aren't original). I'm not selling this, but I'm curious what the model is (there are small specs on the face, that look like they are part of the design). Any idea on age? I would be curious what the value is, but will never sell (family heirloom). Would like to get any info back to my mom. So, here ya go :) Thanks in advance,(also, i would really like to replace the band. i don't know what the size would be, but if you have any suggestions - maybe a gold band, or nicer leather strap please let me know if you have anything that might work :)).. I'll also try to shoot some clearer pictures (this is from my iPhone)Andy
