Cartier 2515 wrist watches news:
A friend sent me these little "facts" about back in the 1500's. I am not all that sure as to their validity but, they were an amusing read. Maybe Boscoe can research them out as to true or false. Here are some facts about the1500s: Most people got married in June because they took their yearly bath in May, and still smelled pretty good by June. However, they were starting to smell, so brides carried a bouquet of flowers to hide the body odor. Hence the custom today of carrying a bouquet when getting married. Baths consisted of a big tub filled with hot water.. The man of the house had the privilege of the nice clean water, then all the other sons and men, then the women and finally the children. Last of all the babies. By then the water was so dirty you could actually lose someone in it. Hence the saying, Don't throw the baby out with the Bath water.. Houses had thatched roofs-thick straw-piled high, with no wood underneath. It was the only place for animals to get warm, so al

Since my first attempt to brush my polished Super Avenger was a constant work in progress, I am almost satisfied with the result thus far. It's still not 100% but I just keep tinkering with it almost daily and it is getting better... Do you like it?
Thinking of buying a patek 5905p with blue face. If purchased for 62,000 dollars now what is your guys long term forcast on price? Will I lose a lot of money when traded later of will it appreciate?
My local AD sales guy claims that Patek makes about 30,000-40,000 watches a year and only 5% are stainless steel watches. On top of that, around 90% of those SS watches are the women's model Twenty 4. I had a hard time believing that, but he was adamant that he was correct. I know 40,000 watches seems about right. But 5% SS would mean about 2,000 SS watches between all models. Even if half produced were the Twenty 4, that would leave only 1,000 for all Nautilus and Aquanaut models.Anyone ever heard this??
