Chopard 209028-1001 wrist watches news:
I came across Ball watches when I was looking for something distinctive and unique; something that combines the tradition of a good automatic movement with modern functionality; something that stands out without being ostentatious. The result was the Ball Engineer Master II Diver you see here.

As we have seen recently the Submariner received its upgrades and from the leaked video the Explorer II looked like it been looked at next for a refresh. The Daytona still remains an iconic watch even though due to the financial crisis it lost its rarity aura. I like the current Daytona with its polished bezel and its silver subdials. But with the Tudor receiving a retro look, I wouldnt mind seeing the Daytona get a slight face lift.I would like to see the Daytona get a all black bezel like the vintage 6264. It may dull the watch a little bit but I think it would good. Glidelock clasp would be a nice addition and Red lume for a different look. With Rolex updating models in their line up with new features (Glidelock clasp, Ceramic Bezel, Chromalight etc) what would you like to see happen with the iconic Daytona?
so a couple of months ago, i picked up my first Patek, the Aquanaut on a rubber strap. At the time, i was going back and forth between the 5711 and 5167, and ultimately decided to get the Aquanaut because I prefer leather straps, and figured I could ditch the rubber once it arrived and replace it with a 21mm black croc. To my surprise, I found myself very happy with the rubber strap...its comfort, the way the rubber pattern complements the dial, the curved ends that hug the case, and its overall durability were very impressive. Despite being pleasantly surprised by how much i liked the tropical strap, and being very hesitant to scratch up the back of the lugs when removing it, i couldn't shake the urge to at least see what it would look like on something different. I contacted a custom leather strap maker, and gave him the measurements he needed, and the final product was sent to me today. let me know what you think...i really like it, the comfort rivals the rubber, and i think it
I just bought a made in 1999 (A-Serial) 16613 blue faced sub. It has a SWISS dial and a TT bracelet, but doesn't have the gold through the clasp. For those of you that own a similar model, does it bother you that the gold does not go through the clasp? Have you considered getting an upgraded bracelet? This one appears to contain evidence that it was serviced by Rolex in 2015 and that paperwork helped me make the decision on this watch compared to paying about $300 more for one made a year later that had the gold through the clasp. I suppose the version I am getting may not scratch as easily as a gold through clasp model bracelet while I'm typing. I dunno. Maybe I should just order another one so I'll have one of each? The watch is currently incoming and I'll post pics when it arrives. Hopefully that will be by the end of the week.
