Cartier Cartier 20065 wrist watches news:
I am thinking of buying my boyfriend this watch for Christmas this year:Omega Men's 3220.50.00 Speedmaster Day Date Tachymeter WatchI think it is classic and elegant...but it also happens to be the watch worn by the main male character in the 50 Shades of Grey trilogy. My boyfriend knows I have read those books, but he thinks it is all kind of silly. Still, I think it is an awesome watch. Do you think he will have an issue with a (somewhat shady) fictional character having (possibly) worn the same one - or will the awesomeness of the watch far out-weight and fictional connections it may have? And what do you think about buying it from Amazon (see link above)? Thanks in advance for your responses!
I've been undecided about what to get, a Milgauss or a GMTIIC, after some hesitation today I walked into my regular AD and told my saleswoman that today was the day and it was just a matter of me deciding which one and she deciding how low she was willing to go.I tried both on one more time and decided for the GMTIIc, after some discussion we arrived at the magical number of 23% discount off List Price.Needless to say I couldn't be happier, and needless to say if I found some money laying in the floor somewhere I would run and get the Milgauss (seems like a need to work harder to get that one too in the future).I suck at picture taking so I leave it to the pros:

Howard Watch Company, the makers of the famous E. Howard and Howard pocket watches.E. Howard was known to make some of the finest American pocket watches of their era. In fact Howard pocket watches were very much respected by the Swiss as the "finest in mechanical timepieces." Hamilton recognized this as well and in 1931, three years after the purchase of the Illinois Watch Company in 1928, Hamilton purchased the goodwill and trademarks of the E. Howard Watch Company.Interestingly, Howard never made a regular production "wristwatch" so it is a double oddity that Hamilton would do just that, make a "Hamilton/Howard" wristwatch. Although never active in the manufacture of "Howard" watches, Hamilton did produce a very small quantity under the "Howard" brand name and conducted tests in the market for t
