Jaeger LeCoultre 148.8.31 wrist watches news:
We recently announced a special sale of limited edition watch straps produced by Canadian Teenage Grandpa for watches-dealer audience members. The total of 30 straps are custom made for each buyer, and you get to choose things like the strap width, length if necessary, and buckle. There are three strap colors to choose from including Cracked White, Ocean Blue, and Deeper Purple. You can read more details about the strap via the link above. The sale of the strap is almost over and we are about sold out. There are a few left and we wanted to give as many watches-dealer followers a chance to order one. So here are some images of the straps on the strap maker's wrist. It is difficult to get a grasp of them in images. They are made to look a bit worn, but they are of a very high quality and hand-dyed. We hope you enjoy them. Price is about $100 plus shipping.Get your Teenage Grandpa for watches-dealer Strap on Etsy here.
I'm still learning how to take pictures, and wanted to share my first of my new OM. hope you guys enjoy:
Good morning everyone,I walked by this jewelry store yesterday and saw this watch again. In June of 2009, I was starting my search for a watch and came across this one at the very same place. He started by saying he wanted $3500, but could sell it for $2000, then $1500, then finally $900. I of course passed, not feeling at all comfortable with their random pricing, plus I couldn't find any info on this watch. Anyone know anything about it? What would it be worth? He of course told me that he just got it in, and it would sell any day now, but about a year later not only does he have the same one, but has collected 4 more, which don't seem to be hot sellers either. The store is located in Rockefeller center. Thanks for the help.
Do you think the yelloe gold version is too loud for daily wear...say in shorts and t shirts?Im beginning to really like the hobnail design though. The whitegold version seems a little bland imo.Opinions?
but tons of two tone and gold in stock. They had 3 stainless steel Subs, all of them black, one no date. They had 2 Daytonas, a gold with MOP dial and a two tone with white dial.I tried on a gold Yachtmaster with black rubber strap, a white gold Yachtmaster II, a rose gold Sky Dweller (MSRP of $48k) and a gold Day Date 40. I'm still smitten with the Day Date and this one had the diamond baguette number markers which I haven't seen before. MSRP on that was $39k though so it remains my dream watch at this point. I did snap a picture of it with my cell phone.
