.......Got this just before I laft California, and I am curious about it .....17 jewels, and in pretty nice condition ....don't know where to start to look it up ........and I KNOW there are people who know their Hammies well enough to say ...oh that's a "fill in the blank " ......so.......lazy bum that I am .....I'll try the old brain picking first ! ......and it doesn't go without saying ....I'll say it every time ....THANKS !oops almost forgot to put the photo up ......

New Tissot arrived, but big problem.
Well the Tissot I've wanted for a long time arrived. Take it out of the box and see that it isn't running. I figured the crown may have been pulled out. Nope. Well, I tried the chrono, it works, so not a battery problem I assume. I played around with the pushers and crown and no dice, the time keeping function isn't working. Any ideas? 2 Batteries? Or broken movement?

I am looking for a watch on a tight budget of around $200. I know many of you have probably seen posts similar to this so I apologize. I have looked at many threads and havent seen any that I was interested in. I am very very picky which doesn't help me in making a decision. Some things Im looking for are...- Overall quality- Chrono- Bracelet made of smaller linksAny help would be greatly appreciated...a couple watches I have seen that I liked are the Citizen BL9000-59F and BM8400-50A...Any input would be greatly appreciated THANKS!!!

Omega Moonwatch 39.7mm question
Hello again, I am still in search for my next watch. I had been looking at the Ladies Speedmaster, because of its small size, I have a very small wrist. But another watch was recommended the Omega Moonwatch 39.7mm. Can anyone who has one give me their opinion of the watch. Also what are the advantages and disadvantages of a manual wind watch compared to an automatic? Will this watch require more frequent servicing? Will this watch need to be wound daily?
