Does someone here have an incoming for an auction that ended today?
I was SO tempted to bid but I just couldn't do it. I have too many that need attention (read $). A Stanley with luminous dial in white gold fill and 401 movement. From what I understand there were only about 1,200 produced in WGF. Is there a way to hand-wind a Hamilton auto, particularly this one:I don't wear it every day, and am awaiting the arrival of my winders. I'd like to keep it running and the date correct in the mean time.Yeah, I know I could read the instructions, but where's the fun in that?

Differences between 1523 and 1499
These appear to be the same watch other than one is 42 and the other is 44mm. Does anyone know the difference in thickness between the two? Any other differences to be aware of?
