Panerai PAM 380 wrist watches news:
A. Lange & Söhne has released a new addition to the classic Saxonia line – the Saxonia Moon Phase. This watch perfectly combines three of Lange’s strengths – the outsized date, moon-phase precision, and clean dial layout. This a wonderful new entry-level-for-Lange addition. 1 OF 3 The new Saxonia Moon Phase features the L086.5 automatic movement which is a similar movement (with added moon phase complication) to the L086.1 used in the Saxonia Automatic. The watch comes in both white gold and pink gold 40 mm case, which is larger than the standard Saxonia model (they range from 37 to 39 mm). The silvered dial features the outsized twin aperture date, which has been in use since 1994 and is a brand staple. The moon phase is so precise that you won’t need to change it for 122.6 years and it is 99.998% accurate. 2 OF 3 Overall, this is a gorgeous watch that reminds me of a modern 3448 – my favorite vintage watch. I'm new to the forum and I have a question:Does the stuff inside of the numbers on the Spitfire line glow? I'm specifically looking at the chronograph (3717), with the white dial. I've looked around quite a bit but I couldn't find a lume shot.I know Rolex has a watch (the Explorer 1) which looks like it has lume inside of the numbers but actually doesn't. Maybe I'm obsessive, but that kinda ruins it for me.I'm thinking of getting that watch on a bracelet for daily wear, possibly even used, but I can't afford it at the moment.Thanks...
So having tried both watches I'm torn. Both have great history, quality fit and finish In house movements etc. Both watches have good dimensions and love how thin they are for chronos.Initially I might have to give the nod to Zenith for 2 reasons:The incredible chrono movement which is what Zenith does best and the fact that it's less recognized in the states. I see quite a few Breitlings and very few Zeniths.Love to hear what you all think. All the best
Hi all, where do I find the serial number on this watch?my seamaster has it on the lug but this one doesent!, it has a number on the case back thats 6 numbers different to the watch number on the card but no number on the lugs is this correct?thanks.
Quality time with my BLNR. Anyone else? Before anyone asks, I shoot righty, but had to hold the Shield in my left hand for the photo. I have shot off-handed with no apparent problems with the watch.
