- Love the feel and fit of this watch. Band is a very nice dark brown leather. Would have preferred a lighter face not black but it is still very easy to read even in darker areas.

I am not sure what would make one 'drool' more, the corned beef sandwiches from Carnegies or what has to be withOUT any dispute the 'Numero Uno' collection of Illinois watches in the world. and its Right Here! This just arrived today, took a couple of shots for receipt inspection, but it goes back in the box for the wife to wrap until my birthday this weekend. So psyched to have this one. It's bigger than my old 45 mm Ti Helson, but fits better due to the lug shape and lower profile.

reliability of 324 and 240 movements
Hi guys,I hear often that 324 is a very reliable movement. I am just curious, has anyone here owned a Patek with 324 movement for more than 5 years without any service? How about caliber 240? Anyone had 240 movement watch fro more than 5 years without service? I hear often the stories from Rolex owners that their watch goes for 10-15 years without any service. Would be nice to hear similar stories about Patek. Here is my 5127 next to the 5227 brothers at the Patek Salon in Geneva. Enjoy!

Hello to all !I'm not so much active over here, as I spent most of my spare time on french watch forums.Anyway, I felt I should share my Panerai update collection as nothing new has occured with my Rolex collection. New Rolex will be the new GMT BLNR, but it should not reach my home until mid july...Anyway, as by June 21. 2013, gone are my Panerai PAM 312 and 183.In went PAM 389 (awesome piece of Submersible), as well as a used PAM 243 (submersible 1000m).And today, came my 2 new pieces. It's all about luck and chance if they arrived at the same time. Lucky me I had put money aside to buy them ! LOLMy Panerai collection now consists of :PAM 372PAM 389PAM 243PAM 423PAM 448As some of you might notice, I have received today a second PAM 389. In order to be sure to have one, in fact, I made two separate orders to two different AD....
