New Seamaster, finally
I don't have any pictures to post (of quality) other than my telephone (I have to find where my wife put the camera...).After over a year of looking, reading, looking some more I finally purchased an Omega 2220.80 SeaMaster. As fate would have it, at the same time a 2502.80 Aqua Terra became available for almost half the normal retail. Stupid I guess, but I wound up with both...I attached as a low res image - not sure if tihis is the correct method...Of the two, the James Bond SMP is my favorite. Dial size is very slightly smaller. The smooth blue face with highlights of the Aqua Terra are what make this particular face stand out and why I like it over the black face. I also like the Broad Arrow like minute hand.I use a Citizen Ecodrive Stars and Stipes as my current every day watch. But after handling and wearing the Omegas I may change my mind...

Regrettable post
I would have preferred not to make this post but after a recent issue in the Japanese and Asian forum I feel that I must say something. This is not a broad shot at one individual but let¡¯s just say it made me think a little more because the problem is more widespread and becoming deeply ingrained in the forum.When I originally joined the forum I felt welcomed as all new members were, but there has been a change in the way the forum behaves. There is very little tolerance for new members making their first post if no pictures are included. At first if a new member in their first post asked a question they were welcomed and then advised that to get further help they would need provide pictures of the watch and movement for identification. The approach at the moment is for 4 or 5 members to subject the new poster to comments like ¡°I can¡¯t think without pictures¡± and one reply from an existing member included a joke reply regarding ¡°need pictures¡±. New Diver at SIHH
I was at the AP boutique earlier today and they told that the forged carbon diver will be discontinued. Or should I say it won't be produced anymore since its only a concept model. A new full ceramic diver will replace the forged carbon one. All the yellow parts will be in orange instead of yellow. I suppose the orange will be like the Volcano ROO.
