Montblanc Nicolas Rieussec Rising Hours Watch
SIHH 2013 will see the release of a brand new version of the now well-known Montblanc Nicolas Rieussec watch. I find it rather interesting to see how Montblanc continues to explore and expand this collection that started the in-house made Montblanc movement watch collection. Made in Le Locle, timepieces like the Nicolas Rieussec collection represent the in-house made mid-range of watches in the Montblanc collection. Above them are the Minerva Villeret produced Montblanc watches.The Nicolas Rieussec Rising Hours evolves the design of the dial to play around with the complications once again. Gone is the second time zone, but added in is a day of the week indicator opposite the date. The off-centered time display is where the real difference can be found. Montblanc Nicolas Rieussec watches typically have day/night (AM/PM) indicators, but this model offers this function in a much more beautiful way. I found it very hard to believe but in searching watches made today I found it almost impossible to find a style/color combo that resembled the watches my father wore when I was growing up. He has been gone for over 30 years and I have no idea where any of his watches went. Anyway, the best I could find was a gold tone Hamilton Boulton. I do not remember my father wearing a watch with a strap, but I also do not rememmber him wearing anything but a gold watch. So, I fiugure get the watch first and deal with strap/bracelet later. The picture is not mine but, it is the watch I ordered tonight. As soon as it gets here, I will take and post pics.

AP T3 edition question
Does anyone know if not all the Terminator AP's included the DVD box set along with the watch?I was told by an AP dealer that only the first initial shipments were sold with the DVD box sets of the terminator movies. The rest of the T3 pieces were shipped without the attached case of movies..Is there any truth to this? I was under the impression that they were all sold with the dvd sets. Would love to put this debate to bed if anyone knows different?

Hopefully the mods will give me some latitude here as this isn't strictly AP related, but I wanted to share with my friends on the AP forum that I got engaged last night! I managed to make it to 42 years old without being married, but I am finally growing up! I thoughts watches were expensive until I discovered the world of diamonds! Omega Seamaster Alveoles Quartz with Pictures
Hello all,On checking the forum I can honestly say how impressed I am with the feedback to date.I have just been given an Omega Seamaster Alveoles Quartz (mens).I believe the watch is from 1980s. I can honestly say I know little about it except it is a two tone 18k gold plated/steel watch with a gold face with dots as hour markers and date.Does anyone have a rough value for one in good condition for the age.I can find very little information and have no paperwork.Even the omega website has very little to go on.Thank you for any help and assistance, it will be most gratefully received.
