This is NOT a typo ! ! ! ! !It's a 1924 Tiffany & Company Longines with a SWEEP SECOND HAND ! ! ! ! Having a SWEEP SECOND hand back in 1924 is EXTREMELY RARE ! ! ! ! !The sterling silver case serial number and the movement serial numbers are MATCHING ! ! ! !ALL ORIGINAL ! ! ! ! ! Also VERY rare for these numbers to be matching in 1924 ! ! ! !Our friend Adam contacted Longines and they said that it was originally invoiced on February 28, 1924 and that it has the 11.62 calibre movement.Anyway, I sold this watch for $400.00 in it's broken, non-running condition.I was COMPLETELY unaware that it was missing the clutch lever spring, so I refunded his money.I was also unaware how RARE this watch was when I sold it, found out afterwords and regretted the sale.VERY GLAD that I got it back and I could not refund his money fast enough ! ! ! ! !I con

Seamaster Chronograph on my wrist
I'm posting a thread about an Omega on the Rolex Forums? Yup.While I am close to getting a Rolex, I decided that I would still purchase a chrono that I've been quite interested in for some time now. The Omega Seamaster Chronograph.Starting in less than a week but lacking the funds to buy a Rolex, this Omega will be the watch to accompany me to 29 States as I do a job for my employer. I'm very impressed by the build quality of this piece. The lume is incredible, the time keeping is definitely SOSC and if I were to compare this watch to another brand/make it would be IMO the Breitling Chronomat series. My boss who is a diehard Breitling guy had to admit that this watch is a pretty nice example from Omega, who he makes constant fun of. I may have planted some doubt in his mind I don't however like the pins in the bracelet and would prefer screws on this but I can live with that. So, here it is in a quick shot from my SLR.

A lot of hard to find Patek's popping up at ADs?
Hello,As a recent buyer of a 5167A, I am seeing that a lot of folks on here are finding that watch as well as 5711 at their local dealers unexpectedly. I am 4 for 4 the last 3 months walking into Patek ADs and finding both 5167s and 5164s in stock. One AD had a theory that with China and other Asian markets down so much and Patek being highly concerned about grey market watches they bought back the inventory and shipped a lot of it to ADs in the USA. Anyone else have any thoughts? Thanks!

Very Speicla 5004 Goes to the Auction block
When I saw that this watch was going to be auctioned off all I could think was damn why don't I have the funds to be in the bidding. My all time Patek Grail Limited to just 50 pieces the 5004 in Stainless Steel. They were made at the end of the 5004 production run. They were not advertised by patek and were gone before you could blink being sold through the Geneva Boutique I believe.
