For example, I've been checking a new quartz watch this last week with the online time, and until this morning it has not lost or gained a second! At first, it showed the watch running about a second slow, then it was back to 0+/-, and then +1seconds. I checked my phone using the same site. Using the cell phone data not wifi, and the same site was off 2 seconds between the computer and phone!Bandwidth is not a problem on the computer! Download speed is 60Mbps, and the phone gets about 20Mbps Out of curiosity, I did some research, and went to the NIST site, and in the FAQ, I found this: "The current time is shown on the Internet at The Official NIST US Time: - it synchronizes with NIST every ten minutes. There is an accuracy statement based on a measurement of the round-trip network delay. This delay is measured using your computer clock as a timer each time synchronization is made. The site provides a time-of-day service, and it should not be used to measure frequency or time interval,
Hi guys, I have never had a breitling but I can't shake the superocean heritage 42. I like the white dial with blue bezel and mesh bracelet, and the blue/blue combo as well. I have a Rolex 14060M and a 2503.33.00 aqua terra, and am thinking of trading the omega for the breitling. how is this watch in the flesh? I have a 5.5 inch wrist and had to take out a permanent link on my submariner. would the breitling bracelet work, or would I need to have it operated on? I would love wrist pics of any dial configuration and advice! some more questions, why do I see some of them with the date aperture at 3 and some at 6? is this watch more 'flashy' than the sub, and would it make sense to swap the aqua terra (semi dressy) for another 'dive' watch?I would appreciate any and all comments regarding the supero heritage 42!!
been messing around
